KERR DENTAL Tab 2000
Chemical-Curing Acrylic Material for Temporary Crowns, Bridges, and Splints

Application:

  1. Pre-Procedure Impression:
Before the teeth intended for temporary crowns or bridges are cut, an alginate impression is taken to capture the shape of the area.

  2. Mixing the Material:
An appropriate amount of TAB 2000 powder (available in three shades: light, medium, and yellow, depending on the tooth color) is mixed with liquid (available in both regular and fast-setting versions) for 20 to 30 seconds.
The ideal mixing ratio is 3 parts powder to 1 part liquid.

  3. Filling the Impression:
Once the desired consistency is achieved, the mixed material is poured into the alginate impression.

  4. Positioning and Setting:
The impression, filled with the material, is placed back into the patient’s mouth, where it remains for 2 minutes to allow the material to set.

  5. Trimming Excess Material:
After removing the impression from the patient's mouth, any excess material is trimmed to refine the shape and ensure a perfect fit.

  6. Polishing:
The temporary restoration is polished for a smooth, natural-looking finish.

  7. Cementing the Restoration:
The temporary restoration is then cemented into place using Kerr Temp Bond or Temp Bond NE temporary cement to ensure it stays securely in place.
