A 4-grits system designed for contouring, finishing, polishing, and high gloss polishing for a variety of materials such as composites, glass ionomers, amalgams, and semi and precious metals.

The OptiDisc system comes in three different diameters, making it easier to reach posterior areas while avoiding harm to soft tissues. The high-performing discs are now even simpler to select. The system’s colour-coded design allows you to quickly and accurately choose the right grit level based on your procedural requirements.

OptiDisc Grit Levels:

• Extra-Coarse

  • Gross reduction and contouring: Ideal for adjusting the primary geometric shape of the tooth.

• Coarse/Medium

  • Finishing: Used for removing composite excess, shaping secondary anatomy, and finishing the restoration.

• Fine

  • Polishing: Erases surface scratches and reduces surface roughness.

• Extra-Fine

  • High gloss polishing: Provides a high-gloss finish by reducing surface roughness to a mirror-like gloss.

Note: The abrasive particles on these discs have no coating, meaning that once the disc is mounted on the mandrel, it is ready for use immediately.

Patented Mandrel Design:

• The special coated mandrel is placed below the disc surface, preventing scarring of the restoration and improving handling.
• Provides optimal torque transmission, ensuring the disc doesn’t slide and remains resistant to RPM variations.
• The patented shorter mandrel design prevents accidental touching of the tooth, avoiding black lines and scratches.
• The shorter mandrel allows easy access to posterior areas and other restricted zones.
