Transparency Goal
While maintaining high surface hardness, the amount of photopolymerization initiators that cause yellowing has been minimized. Nu:le Coat Liquid Clear (hereinafter referred to as Clear) remains transparent even immediately after the light-curing process. Therefore, when applied over a dental restoration, it is very difficult for it to affect the original color tone. This feature allows Clear to be easily used for whitening shades.
Low Curing Stress
The combination of flexible multifunctional monomers and durable crosslinkable monomers has reduced the stress that occurs during curing. This ensures that even in cases of excessive layer thickness, the likelihood of cracks forming or surface undulation occurring is extremely low.
Excellent Durability
In the tooth brushing abrasion test (50,000 strokes)1), the surface treated with Nu:le Coat performed equal to or better than a polished surface, demonstrating excellent wear resistance.
According to research, when surface roughness exceeds 0.2 μm, plaque accumulation increases rapidly2). However, the roughness of the surface treated with Nu:le Coat remained below 0.1 μm even after 50,000 strokes of the tooth brushing test.
Low Viscosity and Easy Application
Nu:le Coat Liquid has been developed with an optimal viscosity for ease of application. Thanks to its low viscosity design, brush marks are minimized, and it is easy to apply thin, smooth layers. Thin, hard coating layers of approximately 5 μm can be created, allowing for coating and characterization without disturbing the surface structure of dental restorations. When thicker layers are needed, it is recommended to use the Gel type.
