CAN THE BIO-C SEALER BE USED WITHOUT GUTA-PERCA CONES?
The technique recommended by the company is to use it with cones, as cement is more difficult to remove when necessary due to its bioceramic properties.
WHAT IS THE HARDENING TIME OF BIO-C SEALER?
Setting time is ≤240 minutes and depends on local humidity.
SHOULD I LEFT THE CHANNEL HUMID TO USE THE BIO-C SEALER?
No, the moisture that initiates material settling comes from the apical tissues and dentinal canals.
WHAT IS RESIN USED AS BASE IN BIO-C SEALER?
BIO-C SEALER does not have a resinous base. Its viscosity is given by polyethylene glycol, a long chain alcohol. Therefore, the product is more biocompatible and easier to clean.
HOW SHOULD I STORAGE BIO-C SEALER?
Storage should be in a dry ventilated place and MUST NOT BE STORED IN A REFRIGERATOR.
CAN THE BIO-C SEALER BE ABSORBED WHEN OVERFLOW?
BIO-C SEALER contains in its composition calcium silicate, which hydrates in contact with local moisture, forming a hydrated calcium silicate structure and calcium ions and hydroxyl. If some of the material in the form of calcium ions and hydroxyl accidentally overflows, it can be rapidly absorbed on contact with periradicular tissues. However, hydrated calcium silicate is a silica matrix that, together with the radioactive (zirconium oxide), represents the insoluble part of the product and offers high chemical stability, which is difficult to absorb or dissolve.
WHAT IS THE AMOUNT OF BIOCERAMIC PARTICLES IN THE BIO-C SEALER?
The product has 65% bioceramic content.
CAN THE BIO-C SEALER BE USED IN SINGLE CONE TECHNIQUES?
Yes, the product can be used for both single and accessory cone techniques.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BIO-C SEALER AND MTA-FILLAPEX?
BIO-C Sealer is a 65% bioceramic charged, resin-free, ready-to-use bioceramic cement.
MTA-Fillapex is a resinous bioceramic cement (salicylate resin), pastexpate, with a 13% bioceramic load in the product.
HOW MANY CHANNELS CAN THE WITCH 1 BIO-C SEALER SYRINGE?
It is possible to make 10 to 12 root canals.
