TIPS

To Enhance Chemical Bonding:

• Apply silane to the glass fiber/adhesive interface.
• Carefully dry the surface before applying the adhesive.

How to Remove a Glass Fiber Tenon:

1. Isolate the tenon by removing the composite.
2. Drill a pre-hole for easier access to the glass fiber tenon.
3. To deform the fiber and locate the canal under reconstruction, use:
   • A non-water-cooled sonic or ultrasonic diamond tip,
   • Or a Gates-type specialized drill.
